Greenwich Hospital' website has been built with the intention of making the content accessible to the widest range of visitors, regardless of disability or impairment. This has been achieved by adhering to best practices, such as compliance with W3C standards.

We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and to find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for disabled people, and user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA).

Our website is level AA for accessibility.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on our website and believe we've achieved our goal of level AA accessibility.
