With the grant award, the NFF has restructured two existing roles within the charity and introduced the newly developed Head of Stakeholder Engagement position. The investment in the post enables the NFF to remain adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of families, and adept at addressing the unique challenges of naval life through their enhanced expertise in Engagement, Policy, Evidence, and Research.
With this new appointment in April 2024, they remain poised to make a more significant impact, providing vital support and amplifying the voices of Royal Navy and Royal Marines families.
Sarah Clewes, CEO of the NFF, commented:
“We thank Greenwich Hospital for its support and look forward to enhancing relationships with stakeholders to ensure that families are considered, alongside serving personnel and veterans, and thus receive the care and recognition they deserve”.
As an independent charity, members of the NFF team span Portsmouth, the West Country, Norfolk, and Scotland. They are committed to actively listening to and advocating for Naval families to shape change.
